The Pediatric Oncology Branch ( POB ) of the National Cancer Institute is part of the National Institutes of Health (NIH), the world's largest medical research institution, which is operated by the federal government. Patients who participate in clinical protocols are treated at the Clinical Center located on the NIH campus in Bethesda, Maryland.
