Workshop: Practical Evaluation of STD-related Efforts If you can’t attend the evaluation training at the National STD Conference in Jacksonville, FL or want to learn more about the topics to be presented as well as additional evaluation concepts, this will be an excellent opportunity! Purpose: This is a 2-day program evaluation workshop that will be offered at 4 different locations. In this workshop we will expand on the evaluation topics to be discussed in Jacksonville, and address new concepts such as: types of data collection sources/methods, evaluation plan components, types of data and analyses, data interpretation and dissemination, and use of evaluation results. This workshop will also cover how to use the entire set of 16 tools that DSTDP developed, and apply their content to design/implement evaluations from beginning to end through a step-by-step approach. Target Audience: STD program staff, Infertility Prevention Programs, Prevention Training Centers, individuals directly engaged in the management, coordination and evaluation of STD programs, Public Health Advisors, and those interested in building their capacity to engage their staff in program planning and evaluation.
