May I pay using a credit card?
A: The Tempe Center
for the Arts only accepts checks for deposits, balances and other payments.
Q:
To whom should my check be made payable?
A: Please make checks payable to
The City of Tempe - TCA.
Q:
May I combine my deposit and balance into one check?
A. The deposit and balance can
be combined into one check as long as it is received by the
deposit due date.
Q:
When will I receive a final invoice?
A: Your final invoice will be
mailed within five business days after your event.

Insurance
Q:
What is a Certificate of Insurance?
A: A Certificate of Insurance is
an informational document that provides proof of insurance.
Q:
Is a Certificate of Insurance required for all events?
A: Yes. If you are planning a
wedding or reception, a parent will be able to use his or her
homeowner’s policy for the event. In other
situations, a separate policy can be purchased from
most insurance companies.
Q: How do I obtain a Certificate of Insurance?
A: If you have auto, home,
renters or other insurance, ask your insurance provider for a Certificate
of Insurance for a special event. Your insurance
provider should have no problem assisting you.
Q:
How much should a Certificate of Insurance cost?
A: The cost of obtaining a
Certificate of Insurance will vary by provider and event.
Q:
Can I purchase a Certificate of Insurance from the city of Tempe?
A: The city of Tempe is not an insurance provider and cannot
supply a Certificate of Insurance for
any private event.
Q:
What coverage should the Certificate of Insurance include?
A: As outlined in Section 9 of
the TCA Operating Policies, the
Certificate of Insurance should
contain:

Commercial General Liability with a $1 million limit for each occurrence
and a $2 million limit for general aggregate.

Commercial Automobile Liability insurance with $1 million combined
single limit per accident, including coverage for owned, hired and
non-owned vehicles, as applicable.

Worker’s Compensation Policy.

A: Please list the following:
The city of Tempe, a municipal
corporation, its officers, agents, volunteers and employees for the
event taking place in the (Licensed Facility) at
the Tempe Center for the Arts on [Month(s),
Day(s), Year(s)]; (Times) for (Description of
Use).

A: Please view the

Multiple events
Q:
Can multiple events occur simultaneously at the TCA?
A: Yes. The TCA is built to accommodate
events in numerous spaces and in the surrounding
outdoor areas. A single group can rent multiple
spaces for events or several groups can rent
single spaces to occur at the same time.
Q:
Can the Gallery be open during my event?
A: If your event is scheduled when the
Gallery is closed, you can request that
it be opened. There
is a fee connected to opening the Gallery during
unscheduled hours. Please check with your
customer services representative for information.

Q:
Can I hire my own catering service?
A: No. The
RK Group
(480/350-2899) is the exclusive caterer for
Tempe
Center for the Arts
events.
