San Francisco, CA

The Office of Foreign Missions in San Francisco serves the consular posts in Alaska, northern California, Hawaii and the U.S. Territories in the Pacific, Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, North Dakota and South Dakota, as well as accredited diplomatic and consular personnel of all nations visiting the region. While we are based in San Francisco, we travel the region visiting consular posts, conducting orientation for local government, law enforcement, business associations and others who come in contact with diplomatic and consular officers, to promote better understanding of the purposes and limitations of diplomatic and consular privileges, immunities and exemptions.
