Summary

The York College Observatory has added a 7-foot diameter radio telescope to its suite of instruments in summer 2004. The resident astronomer, Professor Tim Paglione, lead a NASA NYCRI research team in the telescope's construction, installation, testing and program design. The telescope was fully tested and calibrated, and we began observing the hydrogen emission from the Milky Way Galaxy.
