Project description

Bridge repairs including cleaning and painting corroding portions of the steel box girders, installing new drains in the bottom of the steel box girders, and sealing cracks in the deck. Also includes expansion repairs.

Why is King County doing this project?

Water is infiltrating through the bridge deck and fillling up the steel box girder system through cracks in the deck surface.

 
Status as of September 15, 2008

Design is underway.
