Lee Allen Michaels is wanted for murder. In June 2006, the decomposed body of an adult female from Evanston, Wyoming, was found wrapped in duct tape and left in a remote area north of Evanston. Reportedly, the female victim was last seen alive in April 2006 and had been living with Michaels, who was suspected of having a history of domestic violence. In July 2006, Michaels was last seen in Evanston and then fled to Colorado.
On January 10, 2008, an arrest warrant was issued for Lee Allen Michaels in the Circuit Court of the 3rd Judicial District, Uinta County, Wyoming, for first degree murder. On February 14, 2008, a federal arrest warrant was issued by the United States District Court, District of Wyoming, after Michaels was charged with unlawful flight to avoid prosecution.
