An unknown male suspect is wanted for his involvement in the armed robbery of at least two banks. On April 17, 2008, the man robbed a bank in Bowdon, Georgia. Then, on May 6, 2008, the same individual robbed a bank in Whitetop, Virginia. The unknown suspect entered the banks at closing time and approached the victim tellers. He caused a situation which drew the attention of the other employees and displayed a handgun in his waistband. The unknown suspect bound and gagged the victims, collected the money, and exited the banks. He fled the Georgia bank in a newer model tan or beige Toyota, possibly a Corolla, and fled the Virginia bank in a 2002 Toyota 4 Runner with a brush guard on the front bumper.
The robber wore a dark baseball cap with the logo of the Jacksonville Jaguars football team on it, sunglasses, a blue and white striped shirt, dark pants, and a brown jacket. He also wore a long, gray beard squared off at the bottom and carried a black bag during the Georgia robbery. The robber cleaned and shortened his beard before the Virginia robbery.
