TIPS FOR TRANSPORTING HAZARDOUS MATERIALS TO THE DROP-OFF EVENT:

• NEVER mix hazardous materials together. This could result in dangerous chemical reactions.
• Keep all products in their original containers, DO NOT remove labels.
• Tightly seal all lids and caps.
• Place any container which cannot be tightly closed in a sealed plastic bag.
• Wrap all breakable containers in a newspaper.
• Place all materials in a sturdy box to keep them from shifting during transport.
• Place the box containing HHW securely in your vehicle to prevent it from moving as you drive to the drop-off center.

DO NOT TRANSPORT EXPLOSIVE MATERIALS.

Explosives and ordnance materials are not accepted at the City's HHW collection events.  Residents can contact their Police District to make arrangements to disposal.
