Centennial Timeline

APS continues celebrating its Centennial year this month by featuring the APS Centennial Timeline Project. Panels exhibiting the history of APS and plant pathology in the United States were prominently located at the recent APS Centennial meeting. If you were unable to attend or did not have time to read and comprehend the magnitude of APS and plant pathology achievements (it is vast!), this is your opportunity to take a leisurely stroll through the last 100 years. Each of the panel sections is located in a separate file for easy viewing. Be sure to open the "Acknowledgements" file to fully appreciate all the efforts required to compile this historical document. Kurtis Schroeder and Timothy Paulitz were leaders for this daunting project.

This month's APSnet Feature is my last as editor. Dr. Gary Franc is the new APSnet Feature editor. I want to thank APS staff for their support in successfully bringing these articles to fruition. I especially thank Kurt Gegenhuber, the technical editor who patiently takes the documents and images and formats them for the web site. If you have a topic that should be featured, please contact Gary Franc. Volunteers to write articles are always appreciated, and I thank those authors who graciously provided their time and effort during my tenure as editor.
