Industry Guidelines

In recent years, much attention has been given to relations between the pharmaceutical and medical device/equipment industry and healthcare professionals. Gifts, individual relations, and professional education have been topics at the forefront of discussion. Organizations including the Office of Inspector General have developed guidance documents and codes of ethics on the subject. Below are links to several of these documents for your convenience. Although the American College of Cardiology did not develop these, we encourage you to become familiar with them and how they relate to you and your colleagues. For additional information, please contact the respective organizations listed.
