About the Aluminum Industry of the Future
Members of the Aluminum Industry of the Future are employees of the Industrial Technologies Program (ITP) within the U.S. Department of Energy's Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy. They work with the industry to:
- Maintain a balanced R&D portfolio
- Coordinate with other government offices
- Target R&D solicitations to ITP goals and industry priorities
- Involve industry in technical peer reviews
- Share R&D costs for qualified projects
- Showcase R&D results
- Facilitate updates to the vision and roadmaps
- Provide tools and other resources to boost energy efficiency and productivity today

Aluminum Annual Report
