NASA/Kennedy Space Center (KSC) has issued a draft performance work statement (PWS) for the Mail Distribution Services Contract (MDSC).
This acquisition has been set aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business Concerns (SDVOSBC). The NAICS code for this procurement is 492210 with a size standard of $23.5 million. NASA/KSC is planning to issue a solicitation in the December 2007 timeframe. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS.
This action is to encourage and promote early exchanges of information for this requirement as a part of NASA’s acquisition streamlining initiatives.
The Government is seeking comments by interested companies relating to the draft PWS, such as reasonableness of requirements and risk of performance. Companies are requested to discuss appropriate contract types, and any other questions or concerns companies may have with the overall procurement. The Government is requesting companies to provide any comments or questions in writing via electronic mail at lourdes.brown-1@nasa.gov no later than close of business, Tuesday, November 27, 20007. Telephone inquiries will not be accepted.
