United States Mint at Denver Now Accepting Tour Reservations on the Internet

WASHINGTON – Visitors who wish to tour the United States Mint at Denver can now make their reservations online. The new tour reservations system for the United States Mint at Denver allows those interested in touring the facility to sign up for tours by computer at their convenience. This program became available online at www.usmint.gov on Monday, October 31, 2005.

The public can now make tour reservations for the United States Mint at Denver up to three months in advance, either for a single reservation, or for groups of up to fifteen people at a time.

Visitors who want to visit the United States Mint at Denver may view the following page on the United States Mint’s website by clicking here

For customers who do not have access to a computer or the Internet, the United States Mint at Denver will continue to accommodate walk-up tour reservations at the Tours Reservations Booth on Cherokee Street, between 14th Avenue and Colfax Avenue, at the United States Mint at Denver.

Large organized groups with more than fifteen people can still schedule reservations, but should make arrangements through the United States Mint at Denver’s Public Affairs Office by calling (303) 405-4759. This number should be used ONLY for groups larger than 15 people.

The self-guided tour offered by the United States Mint at Philadelphia is not affected by this change and still operates on a first-come, first-served basis.

Offering the public this Internet option to select the dates and times they want to tour the United States Mint at Denver is just one more way the United States Mint is working to enhance customer service.
