San Francisco Approves a Tough Green Building Standard
A new green building ordinance signed by San Francisco Mayor Gavin Newsom in early August will apply green building standards to new residential and commercial buildings within the city, as well as building renovations. By 2012, large new commercial buildings will have to meet LEED Gold standards. More
