Baton Rouge, LA -- Monday, September 10, the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) will change the hours of operation of its toll-free registration and Helpline numbers. Services will be available Monday through Saturday, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Closed Sunday.

All Louisiana homeowners, renters, farmers and business owners who sustained damage between June 5 through June 22, as result of Tropical Storm Allison, should register with FEMA for disaster assistance, by calling 1-800-462-9029. The TTY number for hearing- or speech-impaired is 1-800-462-7585.

Those who have already registered with FEMA and have questions about assistance programs or the status of their application may call the Helpline, 1-800-525-0321. The TTY number for Helpline is also 1-800-462-7585.

The registration and Helpline numbers will continue to operate Monday through Saturday,

8 a.m. to 6 p.m. until further notice.
