Alcohol and Other Drug Prevention (AODP)
Project LINK

The Office of National Drug Control Policy, whose mission is to reduce the importation and distribution of illicit drugs, designated by the Northwest High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area and Funded Project Link (Leading Integrated Networks in King County).

Project LINK is an innovative initiative focused on community coalition building to combat drugs and violence. This project creates and sustains effective linkages between law enforcement agencies and grass roots coalitions.

The primary strategy is to educate rental property owners and motel owners about the threat of drug trafficking on their premises and to assist their efforts in establishing crime-free housing. Through outreach, training, and technical assistance, rental property and motel owners will increase their ability to detect the presence of illegal manufacturing and distribution of drugs on their properties.
