FAQ: Finding a List of Current MEDLINE Journals by Country or Language in LocatorPlus

Question: How do I find a list of current MEDLINE journals by Country of Publication or Language in LocatorPlus?
Answer:

LocatorPlus, our library catalog, allows you to limit your search by Place of Publication and Language.

To set the limits and then enter a search for currently indexed MEDLINE journals:

  4. Click on the "Set Limits" button at the bottom of the screen
  5. Click on the "Advanced Menu Search" tab
  6. In the "Search For:" box, type medline
  7. In the drop-down box to the right, select "any of these"
  8. In the "Search In:" drop-down box, select "Abstract/Index Tags"
  9. Make sure that the AND radio button is selected
  10. In the next "Search For" box, type 1 5 (that's 1 space 5),
