the last glacial maximum (LGM) about 18,000
years ago, ice caps and glaciers began to melt. Gradually, sea
levels rose, and people from Asia migrated into North America.
A number of "megafauna" (large animals) such as American
Mastodon, Mammoths, and Saber-toothed Cats became extinct. Were
people responsible for such extinctions?
