Interannual Hydrograph Signatures
The following is a hydrograph from the Orodell stream gauge station in Boulder Canyon along the Front Range of Colorado during the decade of the 1960s. It is easy to see at a glance what years were relatively wet and those that were dry by comparison based on stream runoff.

To create your own graphs, go to the USGS Historical Discharge website and locate a stream gauge near your region.
