IRM Bureau Operations

The IRM Bureau Operations (IRM/OPS) is responsible for directing the Tactical Operations of the Information Resource Management Bureau Customer Center, Systems Integration, Messaging Systems, and Information Technology Infrastructures. 

IRM Architecture, Planning and Regulations

Information Resource Management Architecture, Planning and Regulations (IRM/APR) is responsible for Information Technology (IT) Strategic, Tactical, and Capital Planning, Information Technology Architecture (ITA), and Information Resource Management (IRM) Regulations. Assuring that the IT infrastructure, services, and applications are meeting mission goals and priorities in the most effective and efficient manner possible.

IRM Bureau Management and Customer Service Office

IRM Bureau’s Executive Office (IRM/EX) provides administrative, budget and financial management, information systems management, personnel and human resources program analysis and planning.  IRM/EX also formulates and represents the IRM bureau’s management and resource requirements as part of Department-wide resource management and planning activities.

IRM Bureau’s Customer Service Office (IRM/CST) manages a centralized service desk for all Department employees.  Provides communications support for the Office of the Secretary while on travel.  Provides TDY support for posts when required.  Marketing of IRM products and services, and host regional IRM conferences.  Serves as the program office for Knowledge Management.
