Daily Market Timeline
The following list details the distinct market states and their associated time periods (Central time) for KCBT Products traded on CME Globex®:
Value Line Pre-Open: 4:15 p.m.
Wheat Pre-Open: 4:50 p.m.
KCBT Value Line Futures Open: 5:00 p.m.
KCBT Wheat Futures and Options Open: 6:00 p.m.
Wheat Halt & Wheat Options Close: 6:00 a.m.
Wheat options stop trading electronically at 6:00 a.m. and trade by open outcry starting at 9:30 a.m.
Wheat Futures Only:
2nd Pre-Open: 6:15 a.m.
Re-Open (side-by-side ): 9:30 a.m.
Close 1:15 p.m.
Afternoon Pre-Open Session (Monday through Friday)*: 2:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Value Line Futures Close: 3:15 p.m.
NOTE: There is NO post-settlement session in the electronic market.
