Real Property is responsible for proerty acquisitions, sales including back-tax properties, leases, maintenance and disposition of vacant buildings and land, keeping and maintaining of all City real estate records,implementing property replacement and liability insurance, preparation and competitively bidding of necessary infrastructure maintenance contracts. Additionally, the department secures appraisals of properties, environmental reports and financial assessments used to determine economic and project feasibility as needed by all City departments.
