Actinide Facility

The Actinide Facility supports the research objectives of the Heavy Element and Separation Science group, which focuses on the the determination and modeling of electronic and magnetic properties that are characteristic of the heavy elements and their compounds.  This work is a vital part of the Chemical Science and Engineering Division's R&D to help close the nuclear fuel cycle.
