Thank you for your interest in supporting poetry at the Library of Congress. Your gift will allow the Library to continue its literary programs and enhance its offerings. Our distinguished poetry program is more than 70 years old, and as we approach our 75th anniversary in 2012, your contribution will have a significant impact on poetry and literature in the nation and the world.
Tax Deductible
As an agency of the United States, the Library of Congress is an eligible institution under the Internal Revenue Code to receive charitable contributions of cash or property. The Library of Congress is not a 501(c)(3) corporation. The proper statutory reference is 26 U.S.C. 170(c)(1).
