Tools to Help You Get Started

Everyone can fit physical activity into their lives, regardless of ability. Getting started can be a challenge but is well worth the effort. Here are some tools to help you become physically active and have fun doing it!

  • Setting Personal Goals and Earning Points – Learn how to set your goals for the WOMAN Activity Tracker and learn how the point system works for individuals and for teams.

  • Safety Tips – Adopting an active lifestyle is smart. But so is playing it safe. Find out if you should talk to your doctor before starting a physical activity program. Also, find tips for preventing injury.

  • Getting Started – Finding the time and motivation to get moving can be challenging. Here are some tips for helping you get started.

  • Activity Conversion Calculator – Use this calculator to convert activities, such as horseback riding or gardening, into pedometer steps.

  • Physical Activity Tracking Log – Print out the 44-week tracking log to help you keep track of your activities. And check out the useful nutrition and physical activity facts throughout the tracking log.
