NKF Helps Hurricane Residents Get Back On Track

NKF Offers Assistance for Flood VictimsWith over two million people evacuated and another one million without power, residents of the Southeastern United States are dealing with the aftermath of recent major hurricanes. NKF can help. If you have kidney disease and were affected by the hurricanes, please ask your dialysis unit or transplant center social worker to contact NKF to find out if you are eligible for assistance. NKF and ANNA Develop Patient Assessment Tool for ESRD Facilities

NKF, its professional councils, and ANNA (the American Nephrology Nurses Association) have developed a comprehensive, multidisciplinary patient assessment to assist ESRD facilities in complying with the new Conditions for Coverage that The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) released in April.
