of Science is the brainchild of Lee Grodzins, Professor of
Physics Emeritus at MIT who together with the Curtis Memorial
Library in Maine established and coordinates this national

Cornerstones of
Science Books

A goal of
this program is to identify superbly written, accurate, and
stimulating science books and other media for children and
adults. Visit our kiosk in the Youth Library for a selection of
books which have been selected as Cornerstones of Science books
or nominated for this honor. A list of the Cornerstones of
Science books as well as the nominated books is available on the
national website. |
