Chai Spice Tea
(makes 4 servings)

Ingredients: Nutrition Facts for Chai Spice Tea (text version below directions)
small bullet

2 cups water

small bullet

4 tea bags, black tea

small bullet

2 cups 2% milk

small bullet

2 tablespoons honey

small bullet

2 slices fresh ginger, cut into 1 1/2 inch slices

small bullet

1/2 teaspoon ground cardamom

small bullet

1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg

small bullet

1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon

small bullet

1/4 teaspoon allspice

Directions:
1.

In a saucepan, bring water to a boil. Add tea bags, reduce heat and simmer for 2 minutes. Remove tea bags.

2.

Add remaining ingredients to tea and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes.

3.

Strain and serve hot.
