The National Marine Mammal Laboratory (NMML) Library has an extensive collection of marine mammal literature, some of which is rare and difficult elsewhere. The NMML Library supports the research of National Marine Mammal Laboratory and other NOAA scientists. This page aims to raise awareness of NMML Library resources and also provides links to other sites pertaining to marine mammals and related topics of interest to researchers and to the general public.

The NMML Library contains books, journals, theses, reprints, and other materials. The collection focuses primarily on marine mammals and related species of interest, but also includes information on ecology, fisheries, management, and other related topics. The NMML Library also has three major archives with documents from the International Whaling Commission, the International North Pacific Fisheries Commission, and northern fur seal research.

Some external links on the NMML Library site are not available online to the public but can still be accessed directly at the library during the hours of service listed below. NMML publications can be searched for at the AFSC Publications Database by specifying the division to "NMML".
