The Teaching with Primary Sources Program works with colleges and other educational organizations to deliver professional development programs that help teachers use the Library of Congress's rich reservoir of digitized primary source materials to design challenging, high-quality instruction.

10-11 – Illinois State University will host a meeting of the Teaching with Primary Sources Advisory Board meeting.
September 2008
12 – The TPS program at Loyola University Chicago is partnering with the Sierra Club-Midwest Region to present a workshop entitled, “Green Chicagoland: Past and Present.” This workshop for teachers will focus on primary sources ranging from John Muir and the origins of the conservation movement to today’s GREEN world.
