Child Development & Behavior (CDB) Branch
The CDB Branch develops scientific initiatives and supports research and research training relevant to the psychological, psychobiological, language, behavioral, and educational development of children. The following theme characterizes all Branch programs: Development is best described and studied as a variable process in which individual differences in cognitive, social, affective, language, neurobiological maturation, environment and life experiences, and genetics interact in complex ways.

To learn more about the Branch's activities, read the CDB Branch Report to the NACHHD Council (September 2004).
