Michael P. Osinski
Team Leader


Michael (Mike) P. Osinski serves as a team leader in the Financial Management Division of the Office of Resource Management, Office of Science (SC-1.21). Mr. Osinski is responsible for budget formulation and execution for the following Science programs: Basic Energy Sciences, Biological and Environmental Research, Advanced Scientific Computing Research, Science Laboratories Infrastructure, Technical Information Management, and Energy Research Analyses.

Federal Career

Mr. Osinski began his federal career in 1978 in the Office of the Architect of the U.S. Capitol. After completion of his bachelors degree, he moved to the U.S. Department of Labor where he served as an auditor in the Labor Management Services Administration. From 1982 through 1993, Mr. Osinski served in a variety of civilian financial management positions in the Department of Navy with responsibilities in accounting, budget, systems, and manpower. His final position was Acting Director of the Resource Management Division, Weapons Directorate of the Naval Sea Systems Command. Mr. Osinski has been in his current position with DOE since February 1993. In this position he reports to the Director of the Financial Management Division.
