• Provides policy direction and management oversight to ensure safe and environmentally sound exploration and development of the OCS oil and gas resources in the Pacific Region

• Directs regional MMS activities with State and local governments, the public, industry, inter-agency groups, and associated Federal offices

• Directs external affairs program (including educational initiatives, regional website, volunteer programs) and special projects

• Coordinates the Records Management program, Freedom of Information Act and Privacy Act requests, Public Information requests, Government Printing Office projects and Electronic Document Management Systems.
