UPDATE FROM SIDC - RWC BELGIUM Fri Oct 3 2008, 1406 UT
We expect the worst of the high speed solar wind stream to be beyond us and foresee a gradual return to Kp=2 values in the coming 24 hours. We have issued an [SIDC ALL QUIET ALERT] which means that in the next 48 hours no flaring at or above C-class level is expected, no geomagnetic activity higher than Kp=4 is expected, nor any proton event.
