Third Quarter FY 08
- NARA has issued GRS Transmittal 21 which transmits an updated subject index for General Records Schedules 1-27.
- Memo NWM 21-2008 details Federal agencies' responsibilities regarding facility standards for storing Federal records.
- Memo NWM 19-2008 details NARA's new procedures for reporting to OMB on Federal agency progress on statutory records management responsibilities.
- NARA has issued NARA Bulletin 2008-04 - Guidance for flexible scheduling.
- NARA issued an Electronic Recordkeeping FAQ for agencies using the Federal Docket Management System (FDMS)

- NARA has issued NARA Bulletin 2008-02 - Protecting Federal records and other documentary materials from unauthorized removal.
- NARA has released A Survey of Federal Agency Records Management Applications (2007)
- RACO 2008 is May 6, 2008 in Washington, DC. Registration opens January 22, 2008.
- NARA has issued NARA Bulletin 2008-01 - Checklist of current NARA bulletins.
First Quarter FY 08
- View the results from the FY 2007 Records Management Customer Satisfaction Survey and Training Program Impact Survey
- The presentations from RACO West 2007 in Kansas City and Fed Day at ARMA 2007 are now available.
- NARA has issued three checklists designed to assist agencies in embedding records management and electronic recordkeeping requirements into their business processes and the Federal Enterprise Architecture program. Checklists are available for Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodology, the Capital Planning and Investment Control processes, and business process design projects.
Fourth Quarter FY 2007
- NARA has issued Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) about Transferring Permanent Records in PDF/A-1 to NARA.
- NARA has issued Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) about Selecting Sustainable Formats for Electronic Records.
- NARA has issued Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) about Optical Storage Media: Storing Temporary Records on CDs and DVDs.
- NARA has issued six new Tips for Scheduling Potentially Permanent Electronic Records. These products are available in PDF and have been posted on the NARA web site at

Third Quarter FY 2007

- NARA has issued Frequently Asked Questions about Digital Audio and Video Records.
- NARA has issued NARA Bulletin 2007-01 and NARA Bulletin 2007-02.
- NARA's Annual Regional Records Administration Conference, RACO West 2007 - RM and IT: Building the Digital Future, will be held Tuesday, September 18, 2007 at the National World War I Museum at the Liberty Memorial in Downtown Kansas City, MO.
