Web pages for CDC scientists and staff have been relocated. You can
find links to the new personal home page locations on the
staff list. Alternately, if you have
a URL bookmarked which contains a string of the form
~user,
where
~user is the person's initials or a portion of their
name, you can modify it as follows to find the new location for the page:
- Find the prefix of the person's e-mail address on the
staff list. Example:
Cathy Smith's e-mail address is
Cathy.Smith@noaa.gov. The prefix is Cathy.Smith.
- Convert the prefix to all lower case: cathy.smith
- Add the string people/ to the e-mail prefix:
people/cathy.smith.
- Cathy's pages previously were located by URLs of the form:
http://www.cdc.noaa.gov/~cas/.
Replace the ~cas with the string generated in the
previous step.
This gives you the new URL:
http://www.cdc.noaa.gov/people/cathy.smith/.
