This program is designed to create awareness about diabetic eye disease among people living with the disease, those at higher risk for diabetes, primary care providers, and other health professionals.
Key Target Audiences: All people with diabetes, particularly those at higher risk, including African Americans, Hispanics/Latinos, American Indians, and Alaska Natives.

Specific goals and objectives of NEHEP as they relate to diabetic eye disease and information about people at higher risk can be found in the NEHEP Five-Year Agenda.
Share and distribute valuable resources among your patients and people at higher risk for developing diabetic eye disease.
Reach and educate your patients and people at higher risk for diabetic eye disease with the use of these resources in your office or other educational setting.
