Travel from Local Airports

SuperShuttle's door-to-door shared ride van service is available. SuperShuttle stops can be located on the Ground Transportation Level roadway outside the Main Terminal at both Washington Dulles, Reagan National, and Baltimore-Washington International Airports. Shuttles operate on a shared ride-on demand basis. Reservations can be made at www.supershuttle.com. The cost for one person is typically $25 to $35 and trips generally take from 30 minutes to 1 hour.

Taxis are available at all local airports. Fares typically run $55 to $60 for a one-way trip to the conference hotel. The trip takes approximately 30 minutes.

Public transportation is available from Reagan National Airport (DCA). The Metro system (see http://www.wmata.com/metrorail/systemmap.cfm for a map) can be used to travel from DCA to Shady Grove Road (take the yellow line to Gallery Place/Chinatown, change to the red line to Shady Grove Road). At Shady Grove Road (the end of the red line), taxis are available and will cost approximately $10 for a one-way trip to the hotel. The trip takes approximately 1 hour 15 minutes.

Public transportation from Washington Dulles Airport (IAD) is also available. The Washington Flyer Coach Service provides direct transportation between Dulles and the Metro. Washington Coach Service is available every 30 minutes to link the West Falls Church Metrorail Station and the Airport. The trip takes approximately 2 hours.
