- Conference registration does not include hotel reservation. A block of
rooms has been reserved at the Gaithersburg
Hilton at a nightly rate per room of $139 plus 12% tax (telephone:
1-800-445-8667). To reserve a room, please contact the hotel directly and
mention that you are attending the WCNR8, or
on
line WCNR8 Hilton Reservation. Reservations must be received no
later than September 26, 2006; after that date, the rooms will be released
for general sale at the prevailing rates of the hotel. Rooms with two double
beds are available within this block, so individuals wishing to defray some
costs can share a room.
- Roundtrip transportation will be provided between the Hilton (only) and
NIST each day in the morning and evening. Private/rental vehicles are allowed
on campus. No special vehicle registration is required. Directions to NIST can
be found at the NIST visitor
page.
- For participants choosing not to stay at the Hilton, there is a wide
variety of options available, and a listing of additional lodging can be found
at the NIST visitor
page. Those persons will be responsible for their own transportation to
and from the conference site.
