President George W. Bush presented the President’s Volunteer Service Award to David Trinh, 17, upon arrival at the airport in Erlanger, Kentucky, on Friday, May 19, 2006. Trinh is a volunteer with The Bethany Group, a community service organization founded and operated by youth volunteers. To thank them for making a difference in the lives of others, President Bush honors a local volunteer, called a USA Freedom Corps greeter, when he travels throughout the United States. President Bush has met with more than 500 individuals, like Trinh, since March 2002.
