President Bush to Recognize River Ridge Man for Dedication to Volunteer Service

President George W. Bush presented the President’s Volunteer Service Award to Tris Coffin, Jr., 87, upon arrival at the airport in New Orleans, Louisiana, on Thursday, April 27, 2006. Coffin is a volunteer with Second Harvest Food Bank of Greater New Orleans and Acadiana. To thank them for making a difference in the lives of others, President Bush has met with more than 490 individuals around the country, like Coffin, since March 2002.
