Fishery Statistics of the United States 1995 to Present

Data collected by fishery reporting specialists and social and physical scientists are summarized annually in the Fisheries Statistics of the United States. This web site contains reports dating from 1995 to the present that can be accessed and downloaded. Landings data are from the U.S. territorial seas, the U.S. Exclusive Economic Zone, and from U.S. fishing operations on the high seas. Trade, domestic commercial landings and value as well as recreational catch, per capita consumption estimates, employment levels, and aquaculture production are a few of the topics covered in these annual reports. While the information is preliminary, it is intended to provide answers to frequently asked questions about commercial and recreational fishing activities.
