USAID SUPPORTS YOUNG LEBANESE ENTREPRENEURS

On February 8, 2008, the United States Agency for International Development (USAID)/Lebanon Mission Director Raouf Youssef presented a check for of $22,500 to the BADER Young Entrepreneurs Program to support the organization’s service delivery.   USAID’s assistance will provide office and technology equipment to the organization. 

The Bader Young Entrepreneurs Program is a Lebanese non-governmental organization composed of young business leaders who promote small businesses, create employment, and promote entrepreneurship.

USAID has worked in Lebanon since 1951, funding development projects to benefit Lebanese citizens. With funds from the American people, USAID creates jobs, invests in youth and protects the environment in Lebanon.  USAID’s work reflects the strong friendship between the Lebanese and American people.
