MMHCC Repository NCI-Frederick

MMHCC Repository Strain Submission

The MMHCC Repository cryoarchives and distributes strains of genetically engineered mice that are of immediate interest to the cancer research community. These are either gene-targeted or transgenic mice that display a cancer-related phenotype, or "tool strains" (e.g., cre transgenics) that can be used to develop new cancer models.

You do not have to be a member of the MMHCC or a recipient of NCI funding to have your mouse model distributed through the MMHCC Repository.

Strain submission requests are reviewed and evaluated by the MMHCC Repository Committee. Once the Committee has accepted a strain, the Donating Investigator (DI) receives an importation form that must be filled in and returned to the MMHCC Repository for processing. The information on this form is essential for NCI to establish a Material Transfer Agreement.

To submit your strain to the MMHCC Repository Committee click on the link below and fill in the Strain Submission Form. Please provide as much detail as possible regarding the strain's phenotype and use in cancer research and include PubMed ID numbers of any publications describing the characterization of your model. If you would like to submit more than one model please complete one Strain Submission Form for each strain.
