MMHCC Repository NCI-Frederick

Ordering Information

Mouse models are provided free of charge through the MMHCC Repository, however, the customer is responsible for shipping charges if the shipment must go by air or special truck. There is no charge for normal truck delivery. Up to three (3) breeder pairs are routinely supplied on an order. On occasion, larger numbers of breeder pairs may be available - please inquire.

Information on the process of ordering mouse strains from the MMHCC Repository is given below. If you have any questions on the ordering process which are not answered below or any other order-related questions (i.e., strain availability), please contact Debra Fitzgerald at fitzgeraldd@mail.nih.gov or (301) 846-1544. Technical questions regarding the website and the online ordering system should be directed to the NCI-Frederick webmaster at webmaster@css.ncifcrf.gov.

Orders for mouse models must be placed online through this website. To order a particular mouse model, simply find the model you are interested in ordering and click on the place order link. Please fill out the order form as completely as possible. Missing information may delay the processing of your order and result in a delay for you to receive your mouse models. After you submit the order form, you will be brought to a confirmation page which has a link to the Material Transfer Agreement (MTA) for that mouse model order. Two (2) signed original MTAs need to be sent the NCI-Technology Transfer Center for your order to be successfully processed by the MMHCC Repository. You will need to print 2 copies of this MTA and have each signed by the Recipient Scientist and the Authorized Recipient Official of your institution. An Authorized Recipient Official is defined as someone who is authorized to sign legal documents on behalf of the institution. This person usually works in the Technology Transfer Department or the Office of Sponsored Research. The 2 signed originals of the MTA need to be mailed to:

Marie H. Priest
Technology Transfer Center
National Cancer Institute
Executive Plaza South, Suite 450
6120 Executive Boulevard
Rockville, MD 20852

Likewise, all questions pertaining to the MTA (clarification of terms, status of an MTA, etc.) should be directed to Marie at priestm@exchange.nih.gov or (301) 435-3036.
