Biosketch:
Dr. Bialy is currently the deputy director of the Center for Population Research at the NICHD. He joined the NICHD in 1971, as a health scientist administrator in the Contraceptive Development Branch, which is now a program within the Contraception and Reproductive Health Branch. Dr. Bialy earned both a bachelor and a master of science from Ohio State University and received his doctorate from the University of Wisconsin in 1958. Dr. Bialy has authored numerous papers on reproductive biology, reproductive pharmacology, and contraceptive development and is named on several patents. In addition, he has received many awards and honors, including the Public Health Services Superior Award, the NIH Director's Award, and the Endocrine Society's Sidney Ingbar Distinguished Service Award.
