Biosketch:
Richard J. Levine, M.D., M.P.H., joined DESPR in 1991, and is a senior investigator in the Epidemiology Branch. Dr. Levine earned his M.S. degree from the California Institute of Technology, his M.D. from St. Louis University, and his M.P.H. degree from Harvard School of Public Health. His current research interests focus on the pathogenesis of preeclampsia, with particular emphasis on the role of angiogenic factors
