  • The Family Resource Institute
    Offers workshops, support groups, a warm line for birth mothers and a newsletter. 1-800-999-3429.

  • The Fetal Alcohol and Drug Unit
    Located at the University of Washington and has information on Fetal Alcohol Syndrome and related services.

  • MOMs Plus
    Part of Public Health - Seattle & King County, MOMs PLUS provides a variety of services for a diverse population of pregnant and parenting women who have low incomes. The focus of service is to improve health care access for women and their families by encouraging prenatal care, substance abuse treatment, stable housing and reduction in the risk of infant death.   • National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism

    The Arc of King County provides services and support to people with developmental disabilities and their families.

    The Cooperative Extension at WSU focuses on parent education and healthy parenting practices.

  • Parents' Day
    The establishment of Parents' Day was the result of a bipartisan, multiracial and interfaith coalition of religious, civic and elected leaders who recognized the need to promote responsible parenting in our society and to uplift ideal parental role models.

  • Parent Soup
    A parent and family community featuring parenting advice, chat, and discussion for all parents, grandparents, babies and children.

  • Puget Sound Adlerian Society
    This nonprofit educational organization offers information, referrals, workshops, lectures, courses, and other resources and support to parents, parent educators, teachers, counselors, workplace managers, and other people who are interested in mutually respectful, cooperative relationships.

  • Strengthening America's Families
    This agency disseminates knowledge through training and technical assistance and the development of written materials regarding model family strengthening programs.
