"Has a space craft or satellite ever been struck by a meteorite, or are you no more likely to be struck by a meteorite in space, than you are on Earth?"

Question
Hi! I would like to know what would it takes to reverse earth's rotation, and what would be the consequences for life on earth if that happens?
Nothing can reverse the Earth’s rotation, short of a collision with another planet that would pretty well destroy our planet. There are many processes in nature that can slow down the spin of a planet. The tides on Earth are very gradually slowing our rotation today. But there are no natural processes that can spin it up again. The Yarkovsky effect can spin up very small asteroids, but it is not effective even for large asteroids, let alone something as big as a planet. David Morrison
